More than PLN 2 million from ABM to SUM for an original program of innovative postgraduate studies!
The President of the Medical Research Agency, Radoslaw Sierpinski, MD, PhD, has approved the ranking list containing the results of the Competition for the development and implementation of an original postgraduate program in biomedical sciences (ABM/2023/6).
The call for proposals ran from July 11, 2023 to August 23, 2023. The Call for Proposals received 16 applications with a total project value of PLN 45,447,577.91, which passed the formal evaluation and were sent to substantive evaluation.
Based on the ranking list drawn up as a result of the competition procedure, 13 projects were recommended for funding in the Competition, for which the total amount of funding is 37,944,147.24 PLN.
As the Medical University of Silesia, we have been included in this list (!!!) and will implement a project called: Innovative medicine based on facts, IT, AI and robotics. The project aims to showcase technological advances, IT, AI and robotics solutions in medicine and health care. We have received more than PLN 2.4 million. The consortium is the Silesian University of Technology
As SUM, we are a leader in the country in introducing new technology solutions. This is another success of our University. Bravo!
